The VAÖ dormitory is situated in the northern part of graz in a district called Maria Trost. There is very good access to public transfer, since the tram station Kroisbach is only 1 minute from the dormitory. Tram number 1 takes you quickly through the whole city. Our newly renovated dormitory is very close to a forest called lechwald which is a very popular recreation area where you can go for walks or jogging in a beautiful environment.

The dormitory's location is very favorable for students because all four of the universities of Graz are close by. It only takes 5 minutes by bike to go to the Karl-Franzens university. The infrastructure around our house leaves nothing to be desired; a few steps away you find a number of supermarkets, a pharmacist, doctors, restaurants, a video store, a gas station and much more.
